It is the committee's view that the scope of this International Standard partly overlaps with part of the scope of BS EN 752:2017wherethey both cover the planning of surface water drainage systems. However, the scopes ofboth standards are wider than this. BSIS0 24536:2019applies the sameplanningprinciples thatwere adoptedbyBSEN752:2017fortheplanning of drainand sewer systems and hascopiedandadaptedtextfromBSEN752:2017. The committee does not consider there to be any conflict between the standards.
